Door Knobs > Front Door Knobs
Front Door Knobs
Our range of Front Door Knobs are split into 2 main areas. Large Front Door Knobs tend to be mounted in the centre of the door above the Letter Plate and below the Door Knocker. These do not operate a door latch and so a Dead Lock or Night Latch is required to lock the door. Standard Front Door Knobs are mounted near the Door Frame and operate the Latch, but as many doors are rebated then a horizontal sash lock should be used to mount the door knob far enough away from the rebate in order that fingers are not trapped. For Insurance Purposes a 5 lever lock should be used.
